French Castle is an art house born from a simple and universal ritual:
that of opening a bottle of wine, surrounded by those who matter.
We believe that certain objects can hold the memory of a moment.
And that the ultimate luxury does not lie in what one possesses,
but in what we experience together, here, now.
Our works are not mere decorations.
They are the sculpted witnesses of an art of living:
sharing, the table, the wine, the memory.
Each XXL cap is designed to be a discreet and powerful reminder:
don't let the moment slip away.

The faces of the house
Hugo LAMARQUE — Artist
Artist and founder, Hugo imagines, creates, paints, sculpts.
Each XXL cork is born in his hands, with rare rigor.
It is the creative impulse, the obsession with detail, the fire that pushes further.
Paul HOUYET — Manager
A partner in the house, Paul ensures that French Castle communicates with the world.
It develops relationships, initiates meetings, embodies the elegance of the bond.
A fine strategist and deeply cultured, he is the living link between the workshop and exceptional places.

The origin
Hugo creates one of his very first corks in the garden of his home in Anglet. No workshop yet, no customers yet. Just a vision, hands, and the desire to create something great.
Hugo Lamarque is the artist behind each piece.

Collection
Pieces designed for individuals and collectors, inspired by French wine regions and figures from our history. Each cork is an invitation to bring art into everyday life.

Each creation is a unique project, born from a close collaboration between the workshop and the client, resulting in a piece that lives up to their aspirations. More than an object, it's a timeless testament to art and craftsmanship.
Engrave the ephemeral into the eternal.
Made to last. Designed to bring people together.
“I left my studies to create French Castle. Very early on, I realized that I wasn't cut out to follow a set path. I wanted to build a house.
To offer a work that forces us to slow down,
to look around, to honor the moment.
A cork, if well made, can remind everyone of what is most precious to them: the present.”
