Montus, Where it all began.
The first cork I carved bore this name. Today, Montus becomes the first château to sign an official partnership with French Castle. This collection seals this encounter and opens a series.
Faithful to the Cuvée Prestige cork, each piece is engraved in wood then enhanced with painted relief finishes. The inscriptions, the coat of arms, the material: everything is tangible.
Two formats, one same artwork:
The Classic 30cm. Purely decorative. The piece that catches the eye on a shelf, a desk or in a cellar and inevitably starts a conversation.
The 34cm Box. The same cork, which opens to accommodate a 75cl bottle. You offer the object and the wine in one gesture.
Empreinte Edition: 20 numbered copies. The first in a long series. Never reissued.

THE INK OF THE GREAT WINES
To recreate the authentic tannin mark on the edges of our works, we have banned classic paint.
We use a pure and organic pigment, extracted directly from grape pomace from partner wineries. Applied by hand to solid wood, this noble material offers a shade of absolute depth.
More than a trompe-l'oeil, it is an indelible mark. The wine returns to the wood.
